The hotel is in the best location for a trip to Porto, the views are stunning and everything you may want to visit is in walking distance. The staff are excellent and go the extra mile. It was my husbands birthday while we were there and they put cake in our room for him, a lovely touch. The rooms are spotless. The pool is a really good facility in the height of summer!! We went for a dip every day after our city walks. The metro is right outside the front door of the hotel. Top Porto tip, take good walking shoes!! They are a must.

Excellent location: close to metro, bus stations and short walk to General Torres train station to travel to any beach front, if you want to go further away from the city. You can easy walk to Porto side as well as Vila Nova de Gaia. There plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. View: unforgettable view from room window or hotel corridors or bars, restaurants. Staff: very helpful, polite, attentive and accommodating. Diligently cleaned roomed every day. Addressed all requests and were nice and kind by offering a cup of coffee while checking out at 3.30am. Clean: clean towels, bed linen and rooms as well as the bathroom. Rooms are of good size for one or two persons, bathrooms are quite big too. There is coffee maker, kettle and they offer complementary water every day. It is very close to the main activities, attractions and sites, however is calm and you can have a good rest. Breakfast was of wide choice and different tastes. While having a breakfast you can enjoy the view of Porto too either inside or outside on terrace. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and it has good value for money. Thank you.

Breakfast was complete with eggs, omelettes cereal, bread, pastries, coffee, juices with an amazing view. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and give us a great experience. The restaurant has great food and nothing to envy the other nearby restaurants that are also really good! The staff looked proud to work at this hotel and it showed! On checkout day, we had to be at the airport before breakfast time and they organized a transport and special breakfast that we could eat on the way to the airport and we didn't even have to ask! The property has an amazing view of the Douro river, and the famous Luis I bridge. It is also very well located within walking distance to all of the restaurants, terraces, coffee shops, winery, city bus tours, river cruises, Cathedral and the Monastery This hotel has it all at a great price! And GREAT sunsets views !!! 5 star level service! Muito Obrigado!

I could not have imagined a better location! PERFECT!! Traveler sights write about the view “Miradouro” from this hill in Villa Nova De Gaia, and so you see the drives of people coming across the bridge to sit and watch the sunset. Whereas we enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar and took it all in without going anywhere! The staff couldn’t be more accommodating, polite, cheerful, courteous! The dinner was delicious, the breakfast was so full of options I needed more days to enjoy the custom made omelette and pancakes. So much to love here - the special touches of the Port wine and huge Pasteis de Nata left for my whole group in our rooms. Perfect! The bridge is high and low, but with this hotel, they offer an entry at the top bridge level, and a private hotel only entry/exit with elevator for the lower bridge to Porto! I could’ve stayed for days!

This was one of our favourite hotels in Portugal. The view from the bedroom was stunning, the beds were comfortable, the room was well designed and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was spacious with great lighting and plenty of mirrors. Breakfast was fabulous and catered to all dietary needs, and the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. We reserved a parking space in advance, and although the parking garage is tight, we appreciated that our room was on the same level as the parking garage. We also really appreciated the elevators that allowed us to access the top of Ponte Luis I or the bottom.

In every way a great stay - highly professional, customer-focused staff, outstanding breakfast - beautiful selection of super fresh meats, cheeses, hot breakfast items, vegetables, yogurt, granola, pastries, etc. We also had a lovely sunset drink at the wine bar - informed, professional wine suggestions and delicious small bites. We used the parking facility and very much appreciated the hotel's management of this space. The hotel's location was superb with easy walking access to the old city on the north side of the Douro as well as the Gaia neighborhood on the South side - morning walks along the river's well-developed boardwalk on either side a great morning activity right outside the hotel.

Everything. The location of the hotel was superb and gave easy access to both sides of the river. Hotel reception was quality with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and very efficient. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was a decent size, well set out with a very good shower. There was a great bar to use in the evening which had a fantastic view point. The roof top pool area with sun loungers and seating was fabulous.

Everything! The breakfast is amazing, all the staff are fantastic, the view, the bed...I could go on! It's all wonderful. I was worried from the pictures it would feel like a huge corporate hotel. It's smaller than it looks though - in a great way. It felt personable and easy to get around. Best hotel in porto.

Everything, best location in Porto, the staff were amazing from the young man who walked to the garage door to help us park our car, then carried our bags, the young girl who gave us tips on the best boat trip and the excellent friendly service at checkin/out and wonderful people at the incredible sky bar. Then there is the food and the view all first class! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and definitely the best location in Porto with parking, worth every cent !!
